London, UK, 15 September 2020: Smart AdServer, an independent adtech platform, has appointed seasoned programmatic specialist, Murray Phillipson, as VP Demand EMEA to drive the growth of its demand offering. Reporting directly to David Pironon, Chief Programmatic Officer, and based in London, Murray will strengthen relationships with agencies, trading desks, and direct advertisers across EMEA. His appointment is further evidence of the company’s objective to help advertisers achieve efficiencies through their programmatic ad spend.
Murray has previously held senior demand-side roles at Gumtree (Ebay), OpenX, Sovrn, and more recently a senior role for BlisMedia. This range of experience has given him a comprehensive understanding of the programmatic marketplace, including the challenges it faces and the advertising opportunities available. He also brings with him senior relationships within agencies, publishers, technology providers, and data companies.
